1856, the Origins of a Textile Epic
The history of Tradition des Vosges is rooted in the heart of the lush valleys and mountains of the Vosges region. This territory has been renowned since the 13th century for the purity of its water, ideal for bleaching and dyeing fabrics, and for the skill of its weavers.

A question?
All Tradition des Vosges products are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. This means they meet the strictest safety and environmental standards for textiles.
We also have a range of organic bed linen that holds the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) label, which guarantees products made from organic cotton and environmentally friendly production.
First of all, percale is a 100% cotton fabric with a tight, smooth weave. This gives it a slightly firmer and crisper feel than sateen. Percale is also known for being highly resistant and durable, making it a popular choice for hotels and other accommodation establishments.
Sateen, on the other hand, can be made from various fibers such as silk, cotton, or polyester. Sateen is therefore a type of weave, which is looser. The threads are arranged diagonally to create a shiny and smooth effect on the surface of the fabric. This gives sateen a soft and supple feel to the touch.
To learn more about these two materials, visit our material page dedicated to sateen and percale.
At Tradition des Vosges, we pay special attention to the quality and choice of materials in order to offer home linens that are comfortable and pleasant for everyday use. Our materials are selected for their softness, their quality, and their durability over time.
We also favor natural materials such as cotton and linen, and work to continuously improve our practices and commitments to limit our environmental impact.
To preserve the softness and quality of your bed linen, it is essential to adapt its care to each material.
Before first use, we recommend washing your new linen. Then, remember to follow the instructions on the label. Find all our care tips on our Materials and care page.
At Tradition des Vosges, we offer a wide selection of sizes to fit different bed dimensions and meet your needs. You can find the available dimensions directly on each product page.
